What each format is
Digital download — $49
A watermark-free file, upscaled after payment to a resolution suitable for printing at any of our sizes. Ready within minutes. If you order a print later, what you paid for the file comes off the price.
Fine-art paper print
Pigment inks on heavyweight matte fine-art paper, with a white border for framing. Ships flat in a rigid mailer up to 45 × 60 cm, rolled in a tube at 60 × 80 cm.
Stretched canvas
Printed on cotton-blend canvas and stretched over a wooden frame, ready to hang with no framing needed. The image wraps around the edges.
Framed canvas
The stretched canvas set into a floater frame in black, walnut or gold, with the small shadow gap between canvas and frame that gives a painting its depth. This is the format most people choose, and the one that actually gets hung.
Which size?
- 30 × 40 cm (12 × 16 in) — a hallway, a shelf, a bedside wall. The most popular size and the easiest to place.
- 45 × 60 cm (18 × 24 in) — a living-room wall or above a desk. Reads as a proper painting from across the room.
- 60 × 80 cm (24 × 32 in) — a statement piece above a sofa or a bed. Needs a wall of at least two metres to breathe.
On the preview page you can see each size against a wall with a sofa for scale, which is usually more useful than the numbers.
What is not in the price
- Delivery is free to the US and the UK on every print.
- Import duties do not apply for US and UK customers, because printing happens locally in both countries. Orders to Canada and Australia are charged in US dollars and may attract local charges.
- Changes are free. We hold prints for 12 hours before production, and we will remake the artwork in that window at no cost.
- Previews are free and do not require an account.
